December 2009 - in review

December 2009 FLEW by for us...did it for you too?????

It was Britton's second Christmas but really her first one to realize what was going on....o.k. she'll never remember Christmas 2009 it but it was her first Christmas to actually participate in opening presents and for "Santa" to visit. Last year she was only 3.5 months old and didn't know how to believe....you know you have to believe for Santa to visit!!! :)

It was a nice Christmas - busy, but nice. We started out Christmas Eve with everyone at our house for Lasagna lunch which I made with the help of Mother-in-law supervising. Auntie Amy was in town for Christmas also.

Christmas Day was a busy day for us...breakfast at home opening Santa gifts, lunch at Mount house in Collierville and Dinner at Mom & Steve's in Cordova. To top it all off our plane left at 9:45am on the 26th for New York City. Of course Britton was spoiled with lots of toys and gifts from everyone.

We spent 5 days in NYC visiting with Dad and Frank. It was a good trip and I'm really glad Britton was able to spend time over Christmas with her Granddad Winter. It was SUPER cold up there and Britton didn't like the cold wind at all so we spend a lot of time at Dad's apartment. We did get to go to the Children's Museum of Manhattan and also the playground close to Dad's apartment.

Robert and I were lucky to spend New Years Eve with Candace & Nick (close friends of ours) who were hosting a small get together at their house. It was a ton of fun :)

So here I sit....January 4th...back at work....looking at another busy 4 months ahead for us accountant/tax preparer workers.

I hope to be better at blogging our life...maybe if it's even a quick post here to let you know of a new word or another milestone!!

Oh P.S. decided not to go private in 2010....to much of a hassle....maybe not so many pics will be posted. ;)
